This adults-only hotel occupies a private island in the Kemijoki river. Seven suites, four deluxe rooms and a private villa all have river views. The island was first charted in 1712 and connects to the mainland by suspension bridge.
Stays include breakfast and dinner. There is a sauna, and guided activities include husky sledding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and cold-water swimming. Pets are welcome and airport transfers are available. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible.
