This boutique apart hotel is housed in a functionalist building completed in 1933 as a co-operative shop. It has 14 rooms and suites, each with its own theme inspired by Lapland's seasons, nature and natural phenomena. The rooms are well-equipped studio-style apartments with a kitchen. The interiors feature Finnish design classics: Ultima Thule glassware by Tapio Wirkkala, plus Marimekko textiles and Oiva ceramics. Bathrooms have hansgrohe rain showers, and the appliances are Miele. The hotel opened to guests in December 2018.
A self-service breakfast is included in the room rate. Guests get free customer parking and free Wi-Fi, and the rooms are air-conditioned. The building is non-smoking and child-friendly. There is no pool or gym, and pets are not accepted.
