On Ounasvaara hill, the sports institute's pool area has a four-lane 25-metre fitness pool, a children's teaching pool and a water slide. Other pools include a 36°C hot pool, a 7–9°C cold pool, a 34°C bubble pool and a circular warm pool. Saunas are available for men and women.
Open year-round, the facilities host swimming schools and private lessons for children and adults. A pool lift, shower wheelchairs, shower chairs and rollators are available. The entrance, parking and toilet are wheelchair accessible. Swimwear must be designed for swimming; costumes and towels can be rented at reception.
