This reindeer farm, run by the Körkkö family of reindeer herders, has almost 100 hectares of grazing land. Activities include electric snowmobile safaris on silent machines charged with renewable energy, reindeer sleigh rides through snowy forest or on Arctic nights with a campfire and snacks, and snowshoe trips among the reindeer. On the working farm guests can feed reindeer by hand and learn about herding. Electric fat bikes run on private forest trails, and Santa Claus receives private visitors at his cottage on the farm.
The farm is open in summer too, with activities such as meeting reindeer calves, berry picking, rowboat fishing and fire-making. It lies about 20 minutes' drive from the city centre. Visits are booked in advance, and an accessible toilet is available.
