The trotting track has been held at Mäntyvaara since 1976. About 8 to 13 race days are held each year, including Toto trotting days, and the track hosted the national Kuninkuusravit races in 2004 and 2018. Training facilities for horses include a forest trail and a straight uphill track. The grandstand is amphitheatre-style, and a Toto hall and a large outdoor stand serve big outdoor events. The site also hosts Arctic Lapland Rally special stages, snowcross and reindeer races.
The restaurant and pub Mäntyhovi and a grandstand cafe serve visitors, with coffee, buns, sandwiches, sausages, sweets and soft drinks. The stable cafe in the paddock area offers full cafe service and a Toto betting point. Cash and bank cards are accepted at all service points, and cash can be withdrawn at the main grandstand Toto points. Parking, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
