The main church of the parish was built in 1846–49 under Jaakko Kuorikoski and is the third church on the same site. Designed in the Engel church style by A. F. Granstedt, it has a dome 18 metres in diameter and seats about 800 people. A major renovation followed in 1997–98 to plans by architect Aulis Jääskeläinen. It stands in the old cemetery.
The Sunday service begins at 10:00, and the church is open to visitors afterwards. Guided visits can be arranged, and parish ceremonies are booked through the parish office. Step-free access is by a ramp at the side door near the war graves, suitable for wheelchairs and rollators. There is an induction loop, plus an accessible toilet and a gender-neutral one. Parking near the main doors includes two marked accessible spaces, with more at Tapuli.
