This observation point on Lake Keselmäjärvi is intended for watching the northern lights and midnight sun. The aurora season runs from mid-August to mid-April, and autumn displays can reflect on the water before it freezes. The midnight sun is visible in June and July.
The site is accessible and can be reached with a pram. In the snow-free season, cars can park beside the beach, where the route to the small island begins.
