This 18-hole golf course, opened in 1992, lies in a sports park about a kilometre from the town centre, along the Vähäjoki river. It is a links-style course with wide fairways, water hazards, bunkers and streams, so wind plays a big part. The season is long, running from the snowmelt until the snow returns, and the course hosted both the women's and men's Finnish Stroke Play Championships in 2003.
Facilities include a driving range, short game areas, a minigolf course, the Puistos clubhouse restaurant, changing rooms and sauna facilities. A three-hole par 3 course can be played without a green card. A Golf Pro service, the GreenCard system, a junior golf school and coaching are offered, and a limited number of golf carts can be rented from age 17. Accessible seating, parking, entrance and toilet are available.
