This small private hotel began as a villa built in 1974 for Fjalar Nordell, founder of the Salora radio factory, and was converted into a hotel in 1997. It is named after him. It stands in a residential area near the town centre and has 19 rooms: singles, doubles and superior rooms. Rooms have a WC, shower, TV, phone and a minibar or mini-fridge, and some have a kitchen. Long-stay rooms with their own kitchen are available.
Guests can use the swimming pool and sauna, and breakfast and meeting rooms are available. The whole hotel can be booked for groups such as weddings or company teams, for up to about 40 guests. Parking and Wi-Fi are free, pets are welcome and the building is non-smoking. According to its website the hotel holds the Green Start certification. The premises are not wheelchair accessible.
