The island trail network has 17 checkpoints. Kreivin kierros is a 0.9 km loop; Kipparin polku and Torpparin taival are 0.3 km each way. Torpparin taival suits pushchairs but is not fully accessible. The other trails are fairly demanding due to slopes, with steps on Kipparin polku. Old spruce woods, shore groves and rare plants border the Viurilanlahti bird wetland.
Dogs must be leashed year-round, and camping is allowed only at the campsite. Berries and edible mushrooms may be picked, but plants and stones must be left. The island has a summer café, equipment hire, a swimming spot and summer theatre. Two car parks and trailhead maps support visits.
