This campsite is municipally owned and has served recreation and tourism since 1933. It lies on the sea shore about 4 km from the town centre, with a road leading to the island. The café-restaurant serves breakfast, food, café treats and picnic food, in the summer season only. The info point rents out canoes, rowing boats, SUP boards and bicycles, and there is an 18-hole minigolf course approved by the international minigolf federation, with clubs available at the info point.
A wood-fired sauna is heated on request, seats 4 to 6 people and can be booked in the summer season. The public beach has a cabin and two showers but is not supervised. The playground is maintained by the municipality, and free parking next to the campsite includes electric car charging points. Nearby are nature trails, a bird tower and an accessible nature trail within a nature conservation area. Summer theatre and dance stage events are held here, and the campsite takes part in Visit Finland's Sustainable Travel programme. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
