This Montessori-based day-care centre was founded in 1998 as a privately owned company. According to its website, it was the first private day-care in its area and is the only Montessori day-care in Varsinais-Suomi. It offers full-day care for children from 9 months to 7 years, plus pre-primary education. The main unit has 42 places for children aged 2 to 6, divided into four small groups: tigers, cheetahs, panthers and lions. A second unit operates in Halikko, with a 12-place group for ages 9 months to 3 and a 28-place group for ages 3 to 6.
Children aged 3 to 6 study together, so siblings can be placed in the same group. The centre accepts service vouchers, which means parent fees are based on income. Parents can keep in touch through an extranet, and open house events are held at both units.
