This is the main athletics venue in the city, in the Sauli Niinistö sports park. The synthetic-surface track has eight lanes and a 100 m straight, and the field has facilities for other track and field events. The area has a grandstand and kiosk premises.
Next to the stadium, beside the artificial turf field, is a separate athletics training area with a running straight and a long jump pit. Bookings are handled through the city's booking system. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
