Founded in 1973, the local association belongs to the Southwest Finland district of the national homeowners' federation. It represents detached house and holiday-home residents on planning, the environment, safety and housing quality. Membership is also open to terraced house and apartment residents.
Activities include housing lectures, events, excursions and volunteer work days. Members can access the federation's advice line, benefits, Omakotilehti magazine, information bank and home maintenance log.
