Designed by architect Timo Penttilä, the church was completed in 1960 on land donated by Kaarlo Ryömä. In the large church hall, a cross and windows overlooking nature form the altarpiece. It was built to serve parishioners on the Rautavesi side of the parish.
Visits are by arrangement, with independent weekday visits possible in summer. A coffee room with a kitchen can be hired for up to 35 people. Parking is available, and the entrance and toilet are accessible.
