Founded in 1945, the congregation is part of the international Pentecostal movement. Its new church building was dedicated in 1996. Sunday services include worship, prayer and teaching, followed by time together over pizza. Sunday school and a Bible class run for children during the service.
Children's and youth activities include clubs and camps at Leirikartano by Lake Houhajärvi. The congregation's secondhand shop accepts donated goods and supports mission work through its proceeds. The congregation also offers everyday assistance and helps immigrants settle into society. The church entrance, car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
