The psychotherapist offers individual psychotherapy for adults using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Help is available for depression, anxiety and phobias, trauma, addictions, stress, eating problems and relationship issues. The practice is in the town centre.
After an initial assessment an individual care plan is agreed, and an introductory visit is possible before longer therapy. The usual rhythm is one 45-minute session a week. You can attend privately without a doctor's referral, and sessions are held in Finnish or English. The therapist has a Kela contract for rehabilitative psychotherapy, which requires a psychiatrist's statement and a Kela decision, with support intended for ages 16 to 67. Booking ahead is recommended, and a toilet is on site.
