Operating since 1996, garment technician Helena Mäkelä's sewing workshop makes everyday, formal and bridal clothing to measure. Alterations include trouser, hem and sleeve adjustments, zip and button replacement. Leather garments can be sewn and repaired, including replacement linings.
Designs are developed with the customer from sketches, magazine ideas or personal wishes. Fittings form part of the work, with trial fabric used for leather projects. Home textiles include curtains, cushion covers, tablecloths and chair covers, also reusing older textiles. Accessories include bags, scarves, hats, ties and pocket squares.
