This family-run roadside service station and restaurant has operated on road 12 since 1966. It was founded by Kauko Keihänen as a Shell station with a small café, and renamed in 1967. A railway theme runs throughout, reflecting the founder's interest in trains; a new station building opened in 1998 and was extended in 2003. A steam locomotive, the Vr1 "kana", stands on the grounds, and Marshal Mannerheim's salon railway carriage is open to visitors free of charge in summer.
A buffet lunch is served on weekdays and weekends, with an à la carte menu daily from the afternoon into the evening. The shop sells groceries, daily goods, Veikkaus games, car accessories and souvenirs. The service station has fuel, car servicing and an electric car charging point, and serves road travellers around the clock. The terrace has 22 seats, and group bookings are available for larger parties. The toilet and seating are wheelchair accessible, and there is a children's care room.
