Held by the same family since the 1800s, the farm grows potatoes, strawberries, peas, cereals and oilseed crops. Potato production has been a speciality since the 1970s. Two generations run the farm, which also employs local young people.
Produce is supplied to local grocery shops and can be collected from the farm by advance order. It is also sold at Turku market in midsummer. An on-site solar system is an important energy source. Bees support pollination, and strawberries are grown without chemical pesticides.
