This professional theatre was founded in 1914 as the Workers' Theatre and was known as the city theatre until the end of 2006. Its repertoire covers plays, concerts and musical productions, including children's shows and opera. It publishes an annual season brochure and offers a newsletter for subscribers.
Tickets are sold online, along with gift cards and theatre packages. Group and company bookings must be confirmed at least three weeks before the performance. Group tickets are sent as a PDF by email or collected from the ticket sales service. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
