This lakeside hotel and restaurant stands on the shore of Lake Saimaa, a few minutes' walk from Olavinlinna castle. The building was designed by architect Wivi Lönn and completed in 1933. There are 21 individually decorated rooms for 1 to 4 guests, with 52 beds in total. The building has no lift.

The restaurant serves year-round, with a garden bistro terrace in summer. The hotel offers party and meeting facilities and catering for events, and Christmas lunch buffets are served in December.
