This event venue and restaurant is housed in former railway locomotive sheds built in 1908. The building served as a railway depot from 1908, was sold after VR stopped using it in 2014, and opened as an event venue in spring 2022. It hosts its own concerts and events and rents its large hall to outside parties for seminars, parties and receptions. The hall suits concerts, training days, film screenings, product launches and private celebrations such as weddings and birthdays.
The restaurant and bar seat 410 indoors, with about 100 more seats on the terrace in summer. The menu covers beers, long drinks, cider, wines, cocktails, coffee, non-alcoholic drinks and food. On some concert nights, pre-show burger meals are available in meat, vegetarian, lactose-free and gluten-free versions. Tickets and meals are sold in advance through Tiketti.fi and R-kiosks across Finland, and gift cards can be bought through Tiketti. Seating, parking, the entrance and the toilet are wheelchair accessible.
