This sports institute and Sport Resort in Eastern Finland combines a sports centre, accommodation and exercise services. Programmes include sports camps for children and youth, wellness weekends for adults and exercise courses for seniors. The Sport Spa has a four-lane 25 m main pool, a hot pool, a cold pool and water slides, open year-round. The ice hall (Tuukka Rask Areena) and a FIFA-standard football hall are used by athletes. The institute offers vocational education in sports guidance, including the LPT and LAT qualifications.
Accommodation includes the hotels Pyöreä Torni and Kaartila, a row house and Villa Vuorela. Tanhuvaara Camping is open year-round, with beach volleyball courts and free outdoor sports routes.
