The service is traditional Finnish manual bodywork known as Kalevala bone setting, involving soft tissues and joint mobilisation from the feet to the head. The method is documented and supervised by the Finnish Folk Medicine Society.
An interview establishes the client's history and suitability before treatment. Separate sessions are available for children and young people. Appointments take place at Hoitopalvelukeskus Sinfonia and can be booked online. The provider gives preparation and aftercare instructions and excludes treatment in circumstances including fever, acute infection and recent fractures.
