This is the regional council of South Ostrobothnia, whose statutory tasks include regional development and regional land-use planning. It has 18 member municipalities. Its work covers project funding, the regional land-use plan 2050, advocacy and an EU information centre.
The council publishes regional statistics, news, press releases and a blog, and organises events such as regional cooperation group meetings and EU funding information sessions. It is located in Frami, and the entrance, toilet and car park are wheelchair accessible.
