Founded in 1960, the regional association belongs to Suomen Ekonomit, the Finnish Business School Graduates' organisation. Member activities combine professional development, networking and recreation. Cooperation continues with the Vaasa economists' association, to which members previously belonged.
Activities include company visits, training, gatherings and cultural events such as theatre, opera and family outings. Registration is through the national organisation's event calendar. The association holds spring and autumn general meetings.
