This University of the Arts unit provides music and creative arts education, research, development and performances. It began as a continuing education centre in 1991 and has run a cultural music research bachelor's programme since 2022.
Facilities are in Kalevan Navetta, with some teaching at the South Ostrobothnia Music Institute. Open university arts courses and work-oriented training are available. The Uniarts Hub pre-incubator supports creative business ideas, mainly in Finnish with English online lectures.
