The craft centre has a weaving workshop, a craft school and a course programme. Its shop sells rag rug yarn, craft yarns and specialist paper and linen yarns. It is run by Taito Keski-Pohjanmaa, an association founded in 1969 and part of Finland's national craft federation.
Teaching includes craft courses, a children's craft school and clubs. The association also supports craft entrepreneurship and organises exhibitions and events. The premises include a kitchen, with parking in front of the centre.
