Completed in 2024, this two-person cottage stands on Lake Siikaisjärvi. It has a wood-fired sauna built from old pine logs, a private shore and jetty, and an ice-swimming hole kept open in winter. Facilities include an outdoor hot tub and a large glazed terrace with a gas grill. An optional summer barn provides four extra beds.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, coffee maker and cookware for ten. Air conditioning and an air-source heat pump are provided, and rooms are smoke-free. Pets are welcome. Families can use a cot, high chair, potty and outdoor toys. Electric car charging is possible in the parking area, and two electric fatbikes can be hired. The cottage is intended for quiet stays and is suitable for remote work.
