Fully renovated in 2013, the hotel is in the very centre, close to the bus and railway stations. It has 23 rooms with en-suite WC and shower, flat-screen TV, telephone and free wireless internet. Some rooms are non-smoking and suitable for allergy sufferers. Sandel's Suite has a mini-kitchen and a sauna and can double as a meeting room for 10 to 15 people. The Sandels Villas, detached houses and cottages built in 2009, have kitchens, terraces and en-suite WC and shower.
Ravintola Sandels serves an international menu from breakfast to à la carte dishes and also works as a meeting venue for 30 to 40 people. Ravintola Santtu, a licensed evening venue, is below the hotel. Breakfast is included, and parking, with electric hook-ups, is free. There is a swimming pool but no gym, and pets are welcome. Nearby are the Fontanella wellness spa, the Tahko and Kasurila ski centres, Tarina Golf and a riding centre.
