Visual artist Viliina Koivisto and architect Mark Nixon, working as the Neon group, designed the public sculpture selected by the municipality in 2022 for a roundabout. Bright colours and an upward-reaching form express local joy and optimism.
The selection process was guided and approved by the Finnish Artists' Association. The group's earlier site-specific works include Kaarna in Pudasjärvi from 2021.
