The cabin is associated with a Scout troop founded in 1975. The troop offers activities for all five Scout age sections and for adults. Nature-oriented programmes include hikes, camps, day events, camp-stove cooking and canoeing.
Activities are open regardless of age or background. The troop runs an annual Narnia summer camp and uses Facebook for communication.
