This smokehouse and fish shop stands on the Hangontie road and has been operating for about 20 years. Fish is smoked the traditional way over alder. The range includes hot-smoked fish and gravlax, cold-smoked fish, grilled crayfish and other seafood. Classic products are the honey-cognac salmon and salmon pastries, made year-round, and the shop also offers rotating specialities and seasonal products.
Pastries and pies are on sale too, along with party products, and larger platters are available for bigger celebrations. Everything is made by hand from fresh raw materials and tasted before sale. Seasonal staff are often young locals gaining their first work experience. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
