The scout group's cabin was inaugurated in 1983, following the troop's founding in 1966. It sleeps 10–15 indoors, with tent sites outside. There is no electricity: a storage stove provides heat, cooking uses gas, and water is carried from a well about 40 metres away.
The cabin is rented to scout groups and non-scouts alike. A separate sauna and washroom building stands opposite. The grounds include a campfire area and a larger evening fire pit with benches, plus a flagpole on nearby rock. Toilets were renewed in 2017 and the kitchen in 2018.
