Established in 1999, the association brings together tourism businesses in the former Porkkala lease area. Its network of more than 50 entrepreneurs offers accommodation, restaurants, guiding and nature experiences. Tour themes include the area's lease-period history, Aleksis Kivi and local food culture.
Tailored cultural, historical and nature excursions are arranged on request. Activities include hiking, river canoeing, cycling, fishing and winter day trips. Products can be purchased and booked online through the Porkkala Travel agency, established in 2005 as a sales channel.
