A special education teacher helps with study difficulties, including learning difficulties, and special education is applied for through the study guidance counsellor. The school counsellor is available on school days for study, social and personal matters, and visits are voluntary, confidential and free of charge. The school psychologist offers learning-readiness tests and appointments on the same terms.
Student health care is open to all students regardless of home municipality, and each student meets a school nurse and a doctor at least once during upper secondary studies. The doctor sees students at the school about twice a month and otherwise at the health centre. An anonymous online concern form, Huolinappi, is answered by the school counsellor. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
