The open-air museum has 13 buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. Moved here between 1955 and 1964, they illustrate a medium-sized tenant farm. The main house is the Riutta croft dwelling from 1823, and the grounds extend to the Jaatilanjoki river beside the historic Häme Oxcart Road.
The museum is run by a local heritage association founded in 1953, which documents old buildings and works to protect cultural environments. The site has an accessible entrance and parking area.
