This training centre runs kinaesthetics courses for care professionals. For those who have completed the basic course there are follow-up courses over three consecutive contact days (24 hours, 1.5 credits), limited to 16 participants. Supervisors in social and health care can take a one-day management training on introducing the kinaesthetics operating model across their staff, and introductory sessions present kinaesthetics through practical examples.
Family caregivers and the people they care for can join courses of one or two days with about eight participants, including home visits by the trainer. Basic courses have about 20 participants, and practice exercises with clients may take place during or between course days. Course material is provided to support learning. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
