Built in 1822, the Lutheran church was enlarged in 1852–1853 and seats up to a thousand people. Its 33-stop mechanical organ was made by the Kangasala organ factory in 1964. The altarpiece series includes copies of Murillo's Holy Family and Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper. The bell tower dates from 1770.
Weddings, baptisms and funerals are booked through the Savonlinna parish office. The church is almost barrier-free and has a sound system. The entrance and parking area are accessible.
