This family-run bakery has operated in Kainuu since 1977 and employs about 20 bakery professionals. It makes bread, cakes, coffee breads and pastries and also offers catering. The range includes gluten-free products and bread baked with buckwheat flour, and ingredients come from nearby producers where possible. Cakes can be ordered as layer, dry, jelly or sandwich cakes.
The lunch restaurant stands at Jalonniemi on the shore of Lake Kiantajärvi, with a terrace. Lunch is served as a soup lunch or a buffet, and every eleventh lunch is free. Celebrations and milestone events can be arranged to suit customers, with group bookings by arrangement. Seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
