A system of large instruments is built into a forest on the Kaunisniemi ridge, about 0.5 km from the summer theatre. The site covers just under one hectare. It was built in 1996 for the municipality's cultural services, with the instruments designed by graphic designer Markku Penttilä. Construction and installation were done by instrument builders Pekka Westerholm and Olli Penttilä.
It combines a nature trail with a cultural attraction and, according to its website, suits visitors of all ages. The paths are wide and partly gravel-surfaced, with a few steep but short slopes. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
