This small upper secondary school emphasises individual teaching. Alongside general studies, it offers an eSports track and the Päijänne track combining sailing with future skills. Both specialist tracks use residential study blocks; eSports students can keep their study gaming computer after graduation. Upper secondary teaching began in 1949, with the first matriculants in 1952.
Studies can include driving lessons, with swimming and gym benefits and supported exchanges to a German partner school. Finnish as a second language supports international students. An active student union represents learners, and grades can be improved through retake exams. The school is based in Yhteiskoulu, with an accessible entrance and car park.
