This campground on the shore of Lake Päijänne is open all year. It has about 100 electric caravan pitches and tent pitches, along with 15 traditional camping cottages. Also for rent are six log holiday cottages with their own sauna and kitchen, newer cottages completed in 2021, some with a sauna and air-source heat pump, and Airola, a four-bedroom holiday house for up to 10 guests with a traditional wood-heated sauna.
In winter you can swim in an ice hole from the shore sauna jetty, book the VIP sauna in advance, walk on an ice route from the shore and ski on the Ohrasaari trails. A grill shelter is available throughout the winter. The site belongs to the Tainionvirta business group, and its project aims for Visit Finland's Sustainable Travel Finland label. It suits families with children, and the car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
