Concrete slabs in the square hold handprints from about 2,600 residents: women's left hands and men's right hands. Families also have their own slabs. The project began with an East Häme Junior Chamber of Commerce idea in 1995 and was built with the municipality, under the patronage of State Councillor Johannes Virolainen.
The slabs are numbered and names are kept in a municipal register. Lintan Kuisti café has a terrace on the square. Market pitches can be booked through the municipal technical office. The entrance and car park are accessible.
