This small, homely hostel stands in the Finnish countryside, about 18 km from Lappeenranta. The house, completed in 2002, has six rooms for two to four guests, all with a television and some with a private bathroom with shower and toilet. A large dining room seats up to 40 and opens onto a veranda, with a fireplace inside. Traditional Finnish and Central European dishes are served, and fresh strawberries are on offer during the picking season.
There is a sauna, internet access for guests and PlayStation games for children. Two summer cottages are also rented out: one for four people on the Saimaa lakeshore and one for six at the forest edge. Nature and cycling trips, boating and fishing are on offer, and the hostel can help organise meetings, weddings and birthday parties. It has air conditioning, and pets are welcome.
