This island sports ground was built through volunteer work and traces its origins to the 1930s, when a local sports club cleared the field. The present club has about 250 members and focuses on recreational exercise for islanders. Activities include football, fishing and ice-fishing competitions, and skating races.
A traditional kota shelter beside the field holds around 50–60 people and can be hired by outside groups. The island is reached by ferry, with a self-service kiosk at the landing. The field entrance is wheelchair accessible.
