This family-run battery shop belongs to the Akku-Ekspertti chain and is operated by Pirkanmaan Akkupalvelu Oy. Its roots go back to 1965, when a battery shop first opened at this address. It sells batteries and accessories from its own stock to retail and business customers: Monbat starter batteries for cars, vans and trucks, the STA value line, and Yuasa and Ritar AGM, UPS, alarm and telecom batteries. Batteries are also supplied for fire and burglar alarms, emergency lighting, and solar and wind power systems.
A battery can be fitted on the spot, with home delivery when needed, and there is an on-call service. Old batteries are taken back free of charge with no obligation to buy and sent for smelting. The chain has six shops of its own and a reseller network from Helsinki to Kemi. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
