The beauty school offers cosmetology programmes combining classroom teaching with practical training. Courses last 12 months or longer, with qualification examinations arranged through a partner vocational institution. Subjects include facial, foot, hand and body care, hair removal, makeup, nails, lashes, business and sales. Short courses cover subjects such as colour analysis, microblading and permanent pigmentation.
Students practise on clients in the treatment salon and provide supervised haircuts, colouring, beard work and styling in the training hair salon. Salon appointments can be booked online. Applications are continuous and selection is by interview; students may qualify for Kela student financial aid. Some courses include online teaching. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
