This medium-sized upper secondary school has about 270 students. It is the upper secondary school of the university teacher training school, founded in 1962 as a normal lyceum, with the building completed in 1966. Students can choose the general line, Business Norssi or a circus arts line run with Sorin Sirkus.
Students on all lines can optionally take sMed, an interdisciplinary module in natural sciences, human sciences and medicine, and university-level studies are possible on the same campus. The school has been a UNESCO school since 1984 and has international networks. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
